Which Is Way Cheaper To Travel To Aruba Or the Bahamas? The question of which is cheaper, Aruba or Bahamas, can be challenging to answer. In this post, we will look at each destination’s pros and cons and see which one is best for you.

Which is cheaper, Aruba or the Bahamas?

When it comes to traveling, there is no correct answer. Depending on what you are looking for in a destination, one island may be cheaper than the other.

Aruba might be the perfect choice for those who want to escape the rat race and relax. The Dutch island has a relaxed atmosphere and stunning beaches.

On the other hand, if you are looking for luxury and plenty of activities on your holiday, then the Bahamas might be a better option. Famous for its mega-resorts and incredible weather, this tiny country offers everything tourists look for in a holiday spot.

About The Bahamas

The Bahamas are known for their crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. The country is only about 100 miles long and wide, making it a perfect destination for a quick getaway. While it may be cheaper to travel to Aruba, the Bahamas offer more value for your money.

For example, while Aruba costs around $200 per day, staying in a hotel on the island of The Bahamas ranges from $40 per night to $150 per night. This means you can stay in a more excellent hotel without spending an arm and a leg. Additionally, food and drink prices in The Bahamas are much lower than in Aruba. A meal at a casual restaurant will cost you between $5 and $10, while drinks at a bar will only set you back about $2.

If you’re looking for an affordable vacation that offers plenty of activities and stunning views, The Bahamas is worth considering.

For many people, Aruba is a trendy destination for vacationing. It has a great year-round climate, lovely beaches, and stunning natural scenery.

One of the reasons it is so popular is that it is much cheaper to travel to Aruba than to travel to some of the other popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean, such as Barbados or Jamaica. Aruba is the place to go if you’re looking for a great deal on your trip.

Aruba vs Bahamas for destination wedding!!? Reviews

Help! My fiancé and I want a destination wedding in either Aruba or the Bahamas. We’ve found a couple of places we love in both countries, and EXCEPT both have so many pros we can’t decide.

Respond 1── Hi! My fiance and I went to Aruba from June 26th-July 4th. The beaches were beautiful!! One thing worth mentioning is that Aruba is like a desert. There are tons of cacti; the wind is constantly blowing (which is super refreshing), dry heat, and a lot of sand.

There isn’t a ton of green except in tourist spots. Overall, the island was so friendly. The locals treated us so well and genuinely had a great time. If you stay at a resort, then rent a car and explore the island. It’s worth it! If you choose Aruba, feel free to reach out and ask for suggestions!

Respondent 2── FH and I went to the Bahamas a few years back for his work trip. It was a lot of fun. A lot of history there. We stayed at the British Colonial Hilton; they have their beach. I had a great time, but FH had to work the whole time.

But the pirates’ museum was excellent, and the Queen’s Staircase and Slavery Museum, while not romantic, are must-sees. One thing to keep in mind is that gratuity is already included, but many people still expect additional. Not familiar with Aruba.

Aruba or the Bahamas

Respond 3── just got back from Aruba for the first time, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! The wind is a factor, though, like you can’t expect to have flawless hair or anything because of the wind. But also, if you want to get married during hurricane season, Aruba is the best bet because they don’t get hurricanes down there!

Also, someone mentioned that the Bahamas had more transparent water – well, I’ve never been to the Bahamas, but I thought the Aruba water was very clear!! It’s so gorgeous!

Respond 4── I’ve vacationed at both places and had great experiences. Time of year may be a significant factor in deciding the two islands’ temperature/weather. I found the sun to be significantly stronger in Aruba than in the Bahamas.

I think the water in the Bahamas is excellent because it’s clearer, as Aruba’s water has a higher salt content. Overall, I found Aruba more entertaining and an island; there seemed to be more to do and experience than in the Bahamas (but I haven’t been to the Bahamas in 10 years, so take that with a grain of salt).
